The Ohio Federation of K9 Search Teams, Inc. is a non-profit corporation made up of dedicated volunteer search & rescue teams and individuals located throughout the State of Ohio.
Its goal is to ensure that Ohio’s law enforcement and emergency agencies have access to highly qualified search dogs.
The Ohio Federation of K9 Search Teams does this through developing and maintaining K9 team standards, certifying K9 teams, encouraging communication and professionalism in the SAR community.
Additionally, the Ohio Federation of K9 Search Teams’ mission is to promote and enhance communication with the Ohio Emerergency Management Agency. As well as providing Ohio EMA Directors a current list of certified K9 teams.
